As you may or may not be aware, there is currently extreme disruption and associated delays in receiving International Freight. This is mainly due to a high demand for bookings and an unbalanced location of empty containers. Local union action especially at Sydney ports is also adding to these delays.

Containers out of China are shipping but with delays. Containers out of Indonesia and India are extremely slow, as Singapore port trans-shipments are being delayed. Freight rates are now up by at least 150% more than they were this time last year and will get worse with the lead up to Christmas and Chinese new year.

Due to the above we will be reviewing our recently introduced volume discounts in the near future.

As the situation unfolds we will be keeping in touch re delays.
